Man I hope so and I wish this could be published in some way on "you know where". Humm maybe if I make up another name on that site, Auction a BL and put this in the write up some way so all those magic lovers of BL would see it..... Wonder if I could get away with it and not "you know who" mad at me.....

WOW!

I bought promo cards from this guy. Even after apparently getting all of these promos for free (only required a little unethical lying and fraud on his part to obtain them), he never liked to combine shipping for multiple auctions won. I was fed up with the $3 shipping charge for each item since he would not give some kind of shipping discount so I made like 15 individual payments via paypal for auctions I had won on 15 Nov 2009.

Apparently he was pretty upset with me about this, because he sent me an empty envelope! I filed claims for each of the auctions with paypal and won them. He sent the following response through ebay on 25 Dec 2009:

"Dear star_man_20,

you know, if you had just paid for all the items at once like I asked I wouldn't have sent you an empty envelope

- cptdznutz"

I then reported this to eBay and he was removed as a seller in January.

I can't say I'm upset he's going to jail.

He's going to jail? I thought he just consented to fraud and agreed to $100,000 in damages? Not that I'd be upset if he did go to jail.

Oops, I had originally written that "I hope he goes to jail", but changed the tone, and it ended up as I wrote in the previous post.

To correct my prior statement, yes, for multiple layers of fraud, I think he'll get off lightly if he does not spend some time in jail, and if he did it would not upset me.

kinda embarrassing how not typing in one strategically-placed "if" affects the whole statement.
