people like kittens....

His other originals sold between 1k and 4k, the lotus went for >16k , so the relations are still ok if the kitty bonus counts.

am pretty sure the account that bid it up the whole way belongs to a certain proprietor of "Vintage Magic LLC" that many on here know well. My memory might not be serving correctly though. Then he got outbid by $100 at the last second by the no feedback account...

On Facebook dchang said he was #2 bidder, and Chris Rahn said that the 0 feedback winner was a serious collector that had forgotten his eBay info but had lots of MTG artists vouching for his legitimacy.

I'm surprised it sold for so much. I like the Nylea art better, and that went for $3,200.

It's not uncommon for high rolling bidders to create new accounts when bidding to help preserve their anonymity, so it doesn't surprise me that the winner had 0 feedback.

$100 was likely the automatic bid increment. I'm sure the snipe was for more than $100 above D.Chang's high bid.
