If I know the poster like I think I do, I doubt it's a print. At least my hope is it's not a print.

Sadly yes, the Lotus is a signed and numbered print of /100.

Unfortunately for me, I passed on buying the original Black Lotus art in 1995 as I did not want to spend the $5000 that was being asked as I wanted to buy and flip a big collection of power that I bought instead, whoops! ](*,)

This puts me in rare company of people that have had that particular artwork in my hands as well as someone that has held a genuine copy of Proposal and never owned either. :D

hah

Great pics Len.

I'm also in what is probably a very small group who has held the original Lotus art and a copy of Proposal (2 different copies, actually).

Pretty cool to think about it that way. :)

Wow Len, very cool stuff!!!

I am surprised there wasn't a half-open box of Alphas on the pool table that you were cracking, though

Take it easy,
Jared

PS - note to self: remember to bring quarters if I visit Len someday, gotta try and beat my high score :-P

I once saw an alternate artwork of the Lotus done by Rush. It basicly was almost dead on, but not it... never did figure out any real info on that piece. Maybe he simply drew it & wasn't happy with it or something. I almost bought it.

Nice layout there, I have always enjoyed classic pinball & video games. I've got well over 200 different games for the Atari 2600, but nothing beats an actual arcade.

Right now is a great time to buy classic arcade machines.
It's also a terrible time to buy pinball machines.

The triptych really looks nice man! Maybe get an image for scale:)

You also hold the code for the MTGO shuffler in your hand :-(

Note to self, remember to take games off Freeplay before Jared comes over! :-D

Yes, my buddy who sold it to me as part of his divorce settlement has made a couple of inquiries as to whether I would be willing to sell it back to him for what I paid. I reminded him that with the salary Mr. Gates pays him, he should look into getting a different one!

I don't see anywhere to play magic!

I nearly got a pool table, there was talk before we moved to Australia but after the wedding the topic mysteriously died...

I guess the moral is not to get married until after the pool table has been bought, as apparently it is better to have a spare bedroom (which we never use) than to have a games room full of my junk!

I threatened to have all my old Star Wars figures up in display cases in the house, she threatened to put them in the shed when they arrived in Australia, we have compromised, they are going to be put in the shed when they get to Australia. Man I would like a games room.

Len, very nice! Is there an open invitation to Librarities members? :P

Also, are the current whereabouts of the Black Lotus art known?
