Looking for the where abouts of vintage MTG Art

Post by Mephisto » Tue Apr 19, 2011 4:15 pm

There seems to be a lot of knowledgeable people on this board that either own vintage MTG art or knows where it is. I was wondering if anyone has ever seen the following pieces or knows where they are,

Christopher Rush
All Hallow's Eve
Jovial Evil
The Wretched
Tormod's Crypt
Abbey Gargoyle
Fire Drake

Pete Venters
Hellfire from Legends

Thanks,

Josh

I think I saw Jovial Evil on ebay a few years ago, and I feel like it ended for $400-500.

Sorry for adding a piece to the topic. Does anyone know the whereabouts of the original Savannah Lions art by Daniel Gelon?

Anyone know where the original art of mind twist is hiding? Julie Baroh said she sold it through a gallery now out of business years ago.
I'm looking for odd/rare Mind Twists.

How about Wanderlust from Alpha? I've always like the theme of that picture since I'm an avid hiker. If any of you know of any other hiking/backpacking/camping related art, please let me know.

A little clarification. Doug told me it was WotC that lost the original when they moved offices.

Which of the three is the actual, original, printed alpha art. The "1. Missing. He lost during moving."?

To me can draw/paint 642 later serra angels if he wants but there is only one actual original.

You are certainly entitled to your opinion however it is an unfair slam on one heck of a bunch of good people that I know.

I might also point out that if someone did steal it they sure have sat on it for a long time.....
