Oh, so you were the collector that asked Martina for a certificate of authenticity. Congratulations.

A quick question, was that Lotus Bloom AP sketch by Zug done recently, or you already had that ?
Yeah, Mark did that sketch for me a couple weeks ago. The only reason he did it was because I bought the original. Otherwise he wouldn't have done it. He doesn't do sketches any more. :( It's too bad, he does great sketches.

Finally picked up another piece. Got the art for Lotus Guardian from Dana Knutson. I've updated my art page with pics. Scroll to the bottom to see all my Lotus art framed together:

I just got married 2 weeks ago, and am lucky to have an extremely generous friend who gave me this as a wedding present:

or rather have a toaster, hah. Hopefully you're not forced to hang it somewhere out of sight.

Figured I should get around to posting a few of my arts. If I ever get time I will post my artist proof collection.

Here are 2 arts I have had for a long time and then 1 piece a few of you might appreciate then finally an original sketch:

This art almost changes completely when the light hits is, as I try to show with the 2 different pics. I got this from Mr. Rex at GP: Pitt in 2003. He is one of my 3 favorite magic artists. It is sad he no longer does work for them.

This art I got off of Ebay from Mr. Baxa a while ago. It is like 12x15 or so, which is pretty big:

This is a funny thing I saw on Ebay in the last year and jumped on it! It is from the Magic commercial with the Orgg:

Last is a sketch I picked up at GP:Prov this last May:

I've been taking group images of art I'm planning to sell and ran across a piece from Dan Frazier I cannot identify. It's the Djinn coming from the lamp -sepia toned looking piece with white chalk 3rd up on the right of the framed Brom. I'll get an independent shot of the piece when I'm able and hopefully someone can identify it. I got the piece with some alpha art of his. Maybe it's from Duelist or something?

I'm planning to sell several hundred original CCG pieces from MTG/Spellfire/Netrunner/Battletech/many more... all late 80's - early 90's images. Generally cheap unless iconic.
I also have some sketchbooks that I'm selling - Alpha > Exodus - I acquired in the mid 90's onward from various artists.
If anybody's interested feel free to pm me. I mostly sell lots in bulk (or groups at a time) so working backwards (Spellfire) onwards to the more recent CCG art. I just pull out several pieces and get an image and go from there... As far as high end artists go the art is framed with museum glass and not cheap, EG: Brom/Donato...

This is from Broms CCG and maybe not work safe.
I also have concept art for MTG -Worldbuilder guides and whatnot from way back in the day up till Ravnica that you see snippets of once in awhile on the main MTG site.
I have TONS of genre art so if you're starting to collect hit me up.

Hasta

Not sure when it was illustrated, but the Mahamoti is the only Djinn I can think of Dan doing. Could this illustration be a concept piece for Mahamoti Djinn perhaps?

I know the names are similar, but I just wanted to make sure this was true:

Bronty, are you actually selling? Can I swing by and take a look, you fellow Surrey-ite? :)
