Matt, Have you been to Istanbul ?sdematt wrote:Looks like Istanbul than Caracas :P

I am sorry but that doesn't look like Istanbul. The architecture itself seems like a mix of Northern African and South East Asian.
We have magnificent buildings though. So the city would qualify as "Legendary Land" :)

Now, that is North African architecture - from Morocco. And I believe you could see that the resemblance is more striking.
Claiming Hagia Sophia or Blue Mosque (One being Byzantine and the other being Ottoman design- built 1300 years apart) is the same architecture as above, would be as spot on as claiming all Chinese look the same.
My objection is mostly because four pillars of stone is not Istanbul. It is rather Coruscant:

A friend just gave me something that I am real excited about and want to share with my collecting family. I know you will appreciate it.
One thing I am wondering is if she did something like this for any of her other IA cards. Do any of you have any or know of any?
I noticed, for those who are always willing to tell us how many APs are in a given set, that these are numbered 13/22. Were there only 22 IA proofs given out? Or did Ne Ne just get a short batch.

Hey Gary,
Very cool - thanks for sharing. I'm not sure if Nene did that herself, or if a collector put it together. I do know that the original art for Hexatomb was up on eBay a while back, and it was just the painting in a frame - nothing elaborate like you have there. As for the AP's, perhaps she only gave out 22 and did something else with the rest? I know some artists keep a certain # for themselves... just a thought.
Take it easy,
Jared
