Hayden,

I'm still looking for Beta Shivan Dragon for my global collection, and I do have some disposable income this month... a graded card would be a nice addition to my collection.

I don't want to send a bad offer, so if you would be willing to part with the Shivan I wouldn't mind a PM with an amount for....

True Gary, that is a concern, but I have saved some $$$ while I've been deployed, and if the Navy ain't paying me, I'm moving in with my mom. :-P

Don't have a picture, but I picked up another set of the 'Charity posters' at the GenCon Auction this year. This set didn't come with the paperwork, but it is going to be given away at my store's 5th anniversary tourney/Party.

Thus far the prizes for the tourney are:

One of each of the From the Vaults (it will be after Legends comes out)
a Badge to GenCon
the Charity Poster Set
a token package to give the winner 3 free drafts and 5 free standard events
and one more thing.

I don't know what the one more thing. All the prizes thus far have been about a $75ish value. Anyone have any ideas of something 'interesting' (aka not just product) for the 8th prize? The way we're going to run it is 64 players, straight swiss, top 8 picks their prizes, starting with number 1 of course. Entry fee is the low, low price of $5. It's a PARTY man, not some winner take all event..;-)

We actually already have a local guy that does a good job at that, thus people who are interested in it are already dealing with him. Tho it is a theory. Hmm, interesting/expensivish card redone..mebbe..

For those interested:

My trial run with BGS. Sent 11 for grading but didn't realize that signed ones needed to be sent to a different service for authentication before they would be graded. Still trying to figure out the pricing and stuff but looks like I would have to pay twice as much to have a signed card graded as a nonsigned one.

Is that a correct understanding of these 4 sheets of paperwork?

I would like to use BGS or PSA, but it's very difficult from Europe...
