I am working on some framework at the moment and wanted to find out some storys/roumors you heard or expirienced with Shivan Dragons card to add them on the page.
All things you think could be interesting for others or not. Back in the beginning where you could get 2 Lotuses for a Shivan and so on.

Hi Richard.
This True Story is from me,I believe but it was not 2 Shivan Dragons but 3,as well as 3 Black Lotus.Still my Favourite torture when I see that old friend

My friend's R/G Shivan deck is what inspired me to play magic in the first place over 7 years ago.
When I saw him tapping those Priests of Titania and using the Quirion Rangers to untap them I was a little confused, but impressed.
Then he pushed it all through a Skyshroud Elf and made his Shivan a 23/5 and swung.

Bam, I was hooked.

The very first pack of Magic I ever opened had a Shivan Dragon and a Serra Angel in it. At the time this was a pretty amazing pull.

When I first started playing Magic, roughly a week before the release of Visions, I bought a pack of Revised for 15 bucks (must have been expensive at the time, but I was a kid so I didn't know or care). I searched the pack (a crafty kid), realized that it had a Shivan Dragon in it, and opened it immediately. My very own brand new Shivan Dragon.

When Italian Revised BB (Italian first edition) came out one of the most famous roman stores set these prices for the top cards:

Back in the good old days i once traded an unlimited shivan dragon for an unlimited ancestral recall, one for one.
Good trade for me. =D>
I also traded a beta royal assassin for a beta mox jet too.
That's when the icy, assassin combo was king.
Oh, and beta duals were 9 bucks!!
