Your favourite MtG Rarity! (photos please...)

Post by Ponagger » Fri May 25, 2007 9:44 am

Hi everyone!

To celebrate the new site, I thought I'd kick off an new thread, much in the same vein as the StarCity pimp thread, but for Rarities!

Please post photos and apologise to the dial-up people if you feel you must - and keep it to things you _own_ (ie no eBay items you want to win)

If you want to give props to someone - post your favourite rarity as well! Maybe you'll get props of your own??

This is my favourite (though I will post some others if the thread is slow!)

Favorite Rarity

My favorite rarity is actually a set of them. Early on, I made a 5-color deck using only Arena 1 lands. Every time I play it, they go, "Cool! Where did you get those?" :-D

My favorite is a letter regarding a job for my wife at WOTC signed by Peter Adkinson.

Great thread !

I just have to contribute to this one.

I really can't choose my preferred one among these four cards, which are my all-time favorites regardless of value:

Square cut OD Acceptable Losses with miscut and upside-down back:

FE misprint with normal front and another card + MTG back both printed on the back:

Miscuts (the Plains doesn't show well, but it has a FOIL stripe + a white strip vertically on the left):

Thanks all for your great submissions!

To help tetsuo and others add to the glory, follow this simple steps;

- Scan (or photo) your rarity
- Get a photobucket account (or other hosting site)
- Upload the image to the hosting site
- Reply to this thread, then copy+paste the IMG link from your host site.
- Post reply and bathe in glory

Remember to use the IMG tags, rather than just link to the image - we need to see your goodies without following links! (I mainly want to do this because some of the image links never work for me - yes, dragsmou I am looking at you!)

Cheers! keep up the great work!
