Re: New Resale Promo

As I mentioned some time ago, here in Colorado the Magic cards in Wall Mart and Target are handled by venders. for some strange reason Colorado Springs is divided into two territories. In my recon I found that none of the stores I visited h...

Re: Advice needed about APs

Jarad Thanks your comments are always welcome. I'm not sure about if anyone will grade them or not. Seems like I saw a graded AP one time but can't remember which company even. Take care ol buddy and come to GenCon next year so we can hang out. Land destroyer, thanks for the info. I don't remember t...

Advice needed about APs

In trying to organize my APs gathered over the years I discovered I had an extra set of these: https://www.dropbox.com/s/c0kywfd8eqkd1cg/Mox%20APs.JPG?dl=0 I whould like to find them a good home, no use in duplicating them so I'd like to get opinions on the following. 1) Would it be worth having the...

Re: A Personal note from Mystical_tutor

Comcast (Xfinity) has abandoned their attempt to host a privet web site for their customers. All the pictures I have posted on this board in the last several years are now gone (or soon will be). In most cases that will be a non event for readers here but in case there is a specific photo that was u...

Re: Commerative card in honor of Luc Martins

Hi Gary Alexis; Sorry to take so long in answering. So according to this link, Luc Mertens was the Printer Liaison of WOTC since the very beginning: http://archive.wizards.com/Magic/magazine/article.aspx?x=mtgcom/daily/jc20 Regarding that commemorative card, I have some questions: Is it a real card...

Maybe now we will get to see the Proposal card?

Peter was invited and went but sniff sniff, I wasn't....

I wondered the same thing but the more I think about it maybe we have less chance of him publicizing it.

Re: Significant (to me) Alpha Milestone

I reached a significant milestone in my Alpha collection today... 9.6 Beckett GPA! My goal for Alpha is to get all cards to 4x 9.5 sub-grades or better, and my average GPA now reflects that grade. Of course, within the average I still have lots of work to do. Happy collecting to all! http://registr...

Re: Next language in MTG?

I agree with Alexis about the problems with Arabic. Plus the culture of the Arabic world does not lend itself to using the imagination thus, With it being bad just to make an image of something (anything almost). I wonder what type, if any, of "games" are played by teenage Arabs. In addition having ...

Link loss

not sure where to put this so here it is. The ISP that hoasted my web pictures (Xfinity of Comcast.com) is dropping their "service". Thus any of my old links on this site will become nonfunctional next month. This will probably be of little importance as far as the site is concerned but I thought I'...

Re: Global Mahamoti Djinn & Terror projects

As I PMed you my contact in Korea has moved out of Seoul and will probably not be getting a card for you. I am mentioning this on the thread so if anyone else has a chance to pick up one they won't pass it up.

Does anyone know if the toolbox is printed in Korean?

Christopher Rush Tokens

For the first time in 15 years Christopher Rush was at GenCon. It was great to see him again and retell old lies..
He had several tokens available so I thought I'd share a picture of those he had at the Con.

Commerative card in honor of Luc Mertens

Luc retired from CM after a BUNCH of years there. He has been involved with Magic from the beginning. The WotC Art Dept. made this card in his honor. He gave it to Peter who loaned it to me to have it recorded here. As I understand there were about 20 of these made. I'll try and get a better scan la...
