Re: first name basis
I am on a first name basis with several, most of us became well aquainted when Harry Potter reared his ugly head for the first time. ::) My screen name comes from the late Frank Vincent Zappa, it isn't my real name or anything. feel free to call me Keith. I know all of you that were here before me w...

A friend of mine claims to have found a German Sapphire & will have it in my hands this week, so I'll hopefully know more about this soon.

Re: Harry Potter-backed Max Attack deck now on Eba
All I can tell you FOR SURE is that I have a Thornscape Familiar that has a silver border (I could scan if needed). I was told that it came from a precon deck. I was told the entire deck was like that, but I never saw them. I would like to though. I guess we can assume that maybe just one sheet ende...

Re: Harry Potter-backed Max Attack deck now on Eba
I am not completely sure, all I know is I have a Thornscape familiar w/ a silver border. I was told it came from a starter w/ the Unglued borders mistakenly used. I haven't seen any but the one I have.

Re: Just missed print in Urza's Saga
I think I follow your question, I have & own cards that are on the edge of a sheet, where it'll be white. I have some that have information on the side, where the edge of the sheet is.

Re: Value: "M" filler card
Weren't we just discussing recently that Inquest reported that there are 12 or less of these? While I realise this is B.S. (I own THREE), there are probably a few who beleive this to be true, & want to own one. So, those on ebay may be capitolizing on this idea, or are foolish enough to believe it, ...

I would have to agree. Even in the beginning it was a few of us in the lead as individuals. Squt lead, I lead, etc. And to top it off, this deck isn't unplayed.

Re: "Blue backed" (Cyan) Homelands cards
I am by no means the original owner of the card, hopefully you aren't thinking of the exact same card. I figure you'd remember if it was a Candelabra, though. From whom I purchased it from he got it off of ebay from someone overseas. Apparently Dan Bock has seen it & tried desperatly to get it from ...

Re: Harry Potter-backed Max Attack deck now on Eba
No Muldoon, we didn't. We came in 2nd place on the bids, i.e. we lost. I doubt anyone has seen them. The best I can say is I met a judge who claims to have met the winner. He (the winner) said that if any more surface, he's screwed because the value will drop exponentially. He apparently realises th...

Re: "Blue backed" (Cyan) Homelands cards
That Candelabra is the only one I've seen, and most who have seen all of my misprints like it the best.
Again, the print matrix or appearance of all the dots is due to the quality of the scan. And if anyone else owns a card like this, esp. a Antiquities card, I'd love to know.

Re: "Blue backed" (Cyan) Homelands cards
This is what the back of my Candelabra of Townos looks like: http://img43.photobucket.com/albums/v13 ... elabra.jpg
I think you may enjoy seeing it. The quality of the scan makes it appear fake or homemade, but I assure you it isn't.

Re: Just missed print in Urza's Saga
Most of us who collect miscuts insist on it showing another part of a card. I would find this card to have a slight premium if it was a highly desirable/playable card. You may be able to trade it off for a few bucks.
