Re: Cardhaus hit the jackpot !

Pretty crazy price for it though that equates to $500 a pack which is definately not worth it. Hi. I agree with that, just a good opportunity for Collectors of Mint Beta to get 36 Boosters at once, hoping that the box is Sealed  :) If you get a Black Lotus,or any P9 Jackpot  ;) even for tha...

Re: 1998 World Championship Filler Card

I may have just lost $27 on a BIN on Ebay for such a card, but it was advertised as a Foil Test card, not filler, and was not thinking clear on it either.   :D   All I saw was BIN, and TEST card, so I took it before anyone else could.  hehe  I emailed Alexis and Ralph as soon as I found and bou...

Re: 1998 World Championship Filler Card

For everyone's benefit, Alexis was not being sarcastic.  He has consulted me in the past on such things and I have been able to point out things to prove or disprove card legitimacy to him via scans. This filler was easy to spot as a fake and required little to no effort. Hi Mike. I wish you have ...

Re: 1998 World Championship Filler Card

As motorcitymagic said, this IS a fake, and a bad one at that.  You can see the bad job of using acetone to clear out the center of the card due to the jagged border.  The center looks like a poor computer generated image layed onto the card, that was printed onto the card very off center.  No l...

Re: New official article about magic counterfeits

Sorry, but I have to finally ask -- what is OOPS??  I originally thought it was something to mean error card, as in oops, but of course realized that was not the case, so what exactly is it meaning?
Hi Silver.
OOPS=Out Of Prints  ;)

Re: Value: 1996 PT Collector Set?

Do any of the other collectors out here collect the PT cards at all?? Even though I have collected all the Red and Land cards, this is one set that I never felt was a collectible item and have virtually forgotten its existance.  But now that it is being mentioned, I wonder if others get them or no...

Re: question 2: planeshift alt art print runs?

If my memory is working correctly I believe in Europe you can only get the alt art cards in the boosters, and the standard foil versions were never included. This means you could never open the standard foil versions making them quite rare here. Hi. I wish  ;) The Normal Foil Version is by far...

Re: Homelands Release Event Admission Cards

Ice Age was before Homelands. One interesting thing about the cards is that they all have the big I on the back.  Apparently, at that time Wizards started numbering all of their major events.  This was the first one they numbered.  I don't know how long they kept up with this numbering system. S...

Re: Alternate Art Embermage Goblin

The foil version of Embermage Goblin in Onslaught has a different pic than that of the non-foil one. The foil one has something that looks like a penis, which is clearly not a mistake (ie, it IS intended to be that way). I'll try to post a pic when I have the time. I asked the situation to Wizards ...
