Re: Special Altered Art Card Signed..BUY IT KNOW.

While its amusing, I think its fake. I don't think that Stephen Daniele would deface his art with something like that.

As a judge, I would never allow a player to play that card, either way.

Re: Magic DCI BANNERS?

I think they've gone on eBay for US $15-$25. They appear infrequently. The banners are given out to the tournament organizers who run prereleases. Here's one that went unsold recently - http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3260245450. There are usually made from a textured vinyl materi...

Re: foreign booster boxes

because italian and french cards seem to be worth less than english cards, are the booster boxes more reasonable? Very hard to find over here in the US. You'd pay a lot to get shipping from overseas. second, why are japanese nemesis booster boxes 36 dollars while japanese mirrodin is more like 80? ...

Re: Arabian Nights Case at So cal GenCon

The rumor mill has it that the auction was for publicity and that perhaps the seller and the buyer were one in the same. 95k is just insane.

Re: crimped cards

What's generally considered the worst Magic card ever made?

Give up?  Sorrow's Path, right?

How could this card get any worse?

I guess maybe if it was CRIMPED!

dry-cereal, I have a Christmas present for you. IM me your address.

Re: Most prized M:TG item

My prized Magic posessions (in no particular order): An Alpha rulebook signed by Richard Garfield A Beta Underground Sea I opened as part of an all-Beta booster draft at PT NY '99. I didn't win, but it was FUN and we each got to keep one card. There's a whole other story of how I got into the draft ...

Re: lost in limbo

Well, Desert was a C11, meaning that of the 121 slots on the 11x11 common card sheet, 11 were of Desert.

Whatever the final percentage of these "mirror" variations is, it will be something out of 11.

Ohh... to spend 15 minutes with the AN uncut sheets...

Re: lost in limbo

I think I've found one more, though I've never seen it mentioned. I've got two versions of Snap from Urza's Legacy (English): some that are normal and some that have a faint pink squiggles going through the mana cost. I kind of assumed it was a prerelease misprint, or something like that. Anyone con...
