Re: The Prize Tracking Project

I get your point about the multiple prerelease dates at various locations, but there is no possibility that any prerelease tournaments are ever held before the "main weekend" as defined by the North American schedule. I can see where some locations do need to reschedule for a later date, but that ma...

Re: The Prize Tracking Project

1. I guess its up to interpretation. I consider participation prizes as anything given to a participant that does not require that participant to do anything except show up and play, without requiring any sort of winning record. I agree this would also include random prizes, but for simplicity thoug...

Re: Homelands with purpleish background

Extremely common (well uncommon :)). Apparently all of them are misprinted.

Re: Commons and Uncommons

I used to store sets all together with usually 6 of each common (of the best condition) in one box, then have separate storage for the extra commons. This system took a long time to implement and seemed nice -- until I discovered that I was constantly shifting cards around after getting more cards. ...

Re: The Prize Tracking Project

Arena-related programs (North America) Judge Reward Program Arena relies on its large army of Officials to monitor league play. While we believe that judging should always be a voluntary activity that is undertaken for the love of the game, we also wish to show our appreciation for the many hours o...

Re: The Prize Tracking Project

This goes not just with the Prize Tracking Project but also with the prerelease info... although the Nemesis prerelease card says 29 Jan 00, I distinctly remember that the actual tournament was not on that day. It was either a week before or after that, I think after but not positive. That was the ...

Re: The Prize Tracking Project

1. You state that the last Arena season in 1999 started differently according to what country you were in. Can you confirm that all the other seasons were synchronized in all countries? I have no evidence that any other seasons started on different dates. Where I've found dates for NA vs. Europe Are...

Re: Special Altered Art Card Signed..BUY IT KNOW.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3167064656&category=49194 You could say the same for this auction.  Why would Richard Garfield change a card to let you steal other players cards?   Because he can. Its a well known fact that RG makes card alterations frequently when he signs. Ou...
