My guess is 54-58 were reserved for promos with the Archenemy set (with 54-55 already revealed/released, and there have been glimpses of a 56), 5 promos as was done with Planechase (41-45).

I'm sure we'll find out eventually, or 56-58 might end up like DCI-23.
