some thoughts: while the idea of latin names is interesting, i dont think it has much appeal to the average collector. since we will need to recoup costs thru sales, i think that idea would hamper the effort. i can see a card called "workshop" being wanted because everyone knows what it is. these ca...

hey im off to work so i cant type long, but i think that we are getting ahead of ourselves talking about making 20 different cards. 20 different original arts? this is going to be incredibly complicated and i think a very small set is in order for our first outing. ill chime in later.

wow you got hooked up. that playset of superhero edicts is awesome. have you seen the customized terrors that he has sold on ebay and to a member of this forum? if the m.l.c.p. actually gets off the ground, ron spencer will be the first one contacted.

this is what i think is the currently the best idea: a small set of 4 to 6 textless proxies based on cards that are currently very expensive. this will have value to high end collectors who dont want to damage their real cards in gameplay, and also have value to the average collector who cant obtain...

many banks dont charge for money orders. do you not have "amscot" payday advance centers near you? their whole gimmick is free money orders and they are literally on every corner in tampa.

contacting artists about doing work would be great but i think we have to have a serious idea about what we're doing here beforehand. we at least need a budget in mind if we are going to try and commsion art. lets say we make a set of card 6 to 8 cards with a print run of 500 each (plus 100 foils ea...

regarding the legality of latin proxies: i dont know. im not sure how much appeal latin proxies would have to the average collector. do you mean just the name? ie: "mox ruby" in latin with the rest being a picture. i would think it probably still infringes on the copyright. thanks for the suggestion...

i personally would like to make something that would also have value to collectors outside of this small community. if we did this as a fundraiser for this site (or another charity or even for profit-sharing among investors), we wouldnt make many sales for vanguards of dragsmou and magicrumormill. i...

Magic Library Community Project

I have an idea. Please tell me what you think. We could all pitch in and make a limited edition set of tokens or proxies for our members and others who would like to buy them. The profit collected could go towards maintaining the site. I think it is within the realm of possibilty to make a high qual...
