When I got out of the Army I played at a local store called Thunder and Lightening Games (they advertized in the early Inquest/Scrye)- The player base was big and they did a lot of limited events. They had poor condition lands so I donated like 20K basic lands figuring that would last for a LONG tim...

I'm going with a lot of people so should be able to get several sets if it's limited to 1 per. The guys I bought mine from are used to the Comic Con, and have supplied stuff like this in the past. This just means some schmoes standing in lines all day long;) "Used to Comic Con" isn't a good thing......

Looks like the locals are pre-selling but how do they know what these will go for (at the Con) and the availability?

Honestly, tons and tons and tons of people go there... It's worse than Disneyland on a Saturday when a new Pixar ride is being premiered. I cannot see how these things will be hard to get unless they only bring a limited amount or charge $$ for them or something. SDCC has the worst crowds I have eve...

I have an industry pass- I have never gone to the WOTC areas there before, asides walking by, so I dunno how one acquires anything from them. These do look neat. If there's not insane lines I'll try and see. I have friends there as well and will try and get some extras, provided the line isn't stupi...

You auction something like this and it's just random. I listed a bunch over the years and sometimes made more than I expected and sometimes less. Generally though, a few 100 bucks for something that's not iconic. It's a good artist. That isn't always going to guarantee you serious $$$ though- I'd au...

it's in this kind of situation where if feel the differences between our culture are really big Ideally violence would be a non issue but in reality NOWHERE men exist together are they safe from one another. "What if" all of France was heavily armed when the Nazis invaded you guys? "What if" ALL of...

The crux there, is of course, the amounts of these that are kept around after the rest of these test prints are destroyed. Who destroys them and why destroy them? Unless there's an overload of product and it needs to be dealt with -destroyed as opposed to storage fees- because it cannot be sold to ...

If you put them up make sure and try and get a better image of Ragnar. Your shadow makes it look like that black matting is crumpled or something. I think it will get some bids just because it's from Legends. I dunno if it will get what you paid her for the art + frame but hopefully so:)

are they one of a kind? Extremely unlikely. The better question is how many made it out of WOTC/Carta Mundi. If they print these up they're going to produce quite a few sheets. It's not cost effective to just make one or some low # unless you're specifically making a "rarity" (like the Garfield ann...

just too $$$ to have anything more than 6' white-cloth table in Artists Alley! Artist alley is free as long as they reserve the spot in time. Unfortunately, many guys/gals still don't make enough $$ to cover the trip costs so they don't go. Most of the non "comic" artists I've noticed tend to be So...

Please understand I'm basing this off of a post on I.E. that EXPLICITLY states " STOLEN ART ". The person who posted the spiel there being the artist himself- So I think my posts were fair. The post hadn't been removed or adjusted and neither the OP or COLLECTOR had made any clarification at all, un...

Seriously... " Many years ago, not long after the first set for Magic: The Gathering was released, I consigned many of those first pieces to a gallery in Kirkland, Washington called WIZARDS GALLERY, owned by MARC RIECK. Four of the pieces were sold legal and fine, but the gallery abruptly closed and...
