I don't think I've seen this particular card yet, but I have purchased quite a few cards from tingxuan for my global sets, and was very happy with their ability to correctly identify all the variations of language and set.
They know what they're doing.

Re: Mail Brag!
Shame on you Tavis by not recognizing the outstanding Recurring Nightmare Drawing by Jeff Laubenstein! I agree! I knew it was a black card that I owned from 96 or 97, but I couldn't think of the name during the video. Even worse was that I mentioned something about an artist proof, when the card is...

Re: 1993 Pink Playtest Cards
So I learned that there is another land card that won't be in collection, ever: HIghlands. So, for my records: Were there more functional reprints of Limited duals? "Functional Reprint" might not be the best phrase to describe these. Here's why... Alpha playtesting had three generations of playtest...

Re: Playtest Card Overview
When you put another blue item next to it, then it is easier to see that the color is actually greenish. This is the color that we are calling Aqua Green. When you scan it, the bright light makes it look even more green, but very pale. http://www.mediafire.com/convkey/5ca2/fbfkb74aeokzwa96g.jpg Beta...

Re: Playtest Card Overview
Have a look at this card. What color would you say this card is? If this card is by itself like in this photo, many people would say that this card is blue. If you don't have other cards in hand to compare with, this color will be difficult to identify. http://www.mediafire.com/convkey/29d7/zhdsrl66...

Re: Playtest Card Overview
OK, Keith and I double checked colors today. Yes, there are blue beta cards, two different shades of blue in addition to the aqua color. He doesn't have many of these blue ones, which is why we missed them the first time. He provided a new photo with every type shown, which I've labeled and uploaded...

Re: 1993 Pink Playtest Cards
The cards shown in this thread all came from a single deck that was given to a playtester. I believe that no trading was done because they told me it was only played about 3 times as they were busy handling other important tasks for the company. This is a glimpse at what the decks provided to playte...

Re: Playtest Card Overview
That Gauntlet of might isn't Light Orange, it's a very vibrant bright Orange. It's the top Orange in the second column in all of the color comparison pics I just added at the top of this topic. For some reason, that Orange color really doesn't scan well at all. It's very bright in person, but diffi...

Re: Playtest Card Overview
Also for Beta "There are at least 3 different colors of cardstock (white, yellow, blue)". I have pics with Beige/Orange and Green as well. Good to know. I wanted to get this basic info written down so that I could move on to more detailed stuff without forgetting anything. The Beige probably needs ...

Hi Tav Very interesting. Now, I'm confused at some Playtest Cards that were labeled as Beta but according to your post aren't (see in Tab Others): https://www.magiclibrarities.net/963-rarities-alpha-beta-gamma-playtest-cards-english-cards-others.html 001 Black Vise should be Gamma (Modified version...

Playtest Card Overview
Five Magics Five Magics is an unpublished (maybe unfinished) game that Richard Garfield started creating in 1982. It was inspired by Richard's experience with the game Cosmic Encounter, and based on the premise that each card could break the rules of the game. http://www.mediafire.com/convkey/21d4/...

I didn't make any still pictures of the process yet, but I did make a video which explains the process pretty well.
