Re: Wanted: Beta Black Lotus

I never understood that either.  Actually, I understood it when they weren't tournament legal, and was sad when they became tourney-legal and thus more expensive. But from a sheer collecting standpoint, Mint alphas are much more difficult to find.  The only explanation I can think of is th...

Re: French Sixth Obsianus Golem

It's probably on all of them.  It's actually been fairly common for French flavor text to differ from the English for quite a while in several sets.

Re: ice age missprint?

Hey all- Finally something I can help with! This question comes to me from time to time through my misprint site...usually, it's someone who thinks they have an amazing new misprint to tell me about because THEIR Fylgja is a misprint. As near as I can tell, this whole problem stems from a graphic fi...

Re: What is this?

Hey Eric (or anyone) -

Do we know for sure of anyone faking foils yet though?

Re: What is this?

Erloo - do you have a Japanese Mirrodin pack, and if so, does it have horizontal crimps?

Re: question about Urza's legacy italian misprint

I'm fairly certain they were never corrected.  I'm not certain about the foil ones though.

Re: What is this?

I just ripped a joiner, and it passed.  I opened 2/3ds of the box and I'm sure it's legit (got two foil rares out of it too - woo woo!). The thing I'm wondering is, does WOTC want collectors to think that foreign product is counterfeit?  There's been a lot of pressure put on retailers not ...

Re: What is this?

I've got a weird thing to throw out there that's vaguely on this topic...I just got a box of Japanese Mirrodin Boosters, and they are packed like the "Fake" boosters in this JPG:             http://www.chez.com/erl00/PacksImages/FAKE-Mirrodin-b.jpg The crimping lines on...

Re: question about Urza's legacy italian misprint

Great question...I've only ever seen non-foil ones.  Anyone know?

Thanks Mr. C.  Where are you going to be putting them up?  E-bay, or the trading forum?

Re: What is this?

Is someone in Europe willing to spend some euros to get one of these 'bags' and put to rest this debate?

: )

Re: What is this?

This looks like more of a fake repack auction to me.  Even though it has the WOTC logo, it looks like it could be home made...and it says "14 bag!" on the front.  What the hell does that mean?

I bet it's repacks.

Re: artist proofs from Portal??

RG - that's a great question.  I'm not sure if WOTC customer service would say, and I'm not sure how you would get in touch with the artists - I think they were all Chinese.

Re: Harry Potter-backed Max Attack deck now on Eba

I sent the guy a note telling him a few of the things he did wrong with the auction, and got no reply.
