I was hoping for a Spectral Bears reprint, but given that there's a brand new Bear in the main set, I'm quite satisfied!

I believe drags is referring to the Ice Age and Alliances reprints in the Coldsnap precons.

Don't forget Mistform Ultimus! (Though that doesn't rule out remembering it and then immediately disregarding it.)

Re: Info about and from artists at Gen Con

Frost Raptor and Vexing Sphynx are one painting - Lars had it up in his booth, and it's gorgeous. Part of the Sphynx wing had to be edited out of the raptor pic. If you put the cards next to each other, you can see it - they face each other. He's a really nice guy. I just ended up buying a proof of...

Unless they decided to make these unlike any other precons, it will only be a random foil basic land in the precons. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if the foil land was a snow-covered basic land from Coldsnap rather than an Ice Age basic land.

Nope, all the reprinted cards are supposed to be their original Ice Age/Alliances art.

Your Serra Angel is marked under Peter Adkinson instead of Douglas Shuler That's because it's signed by Peter Adkinson and not by Douglas Shuler. ;-) Mr. C., I can send you 1 card each signed by the following artists: Matt Cavotta Quinton Hoover Richard Sardinha (Cardpecker) Arnie Swekel (Distortin...

There is not flashback symbol in the name of Engulfing Flames. 8-| Ah well. It was supposed to go on all cards that mattered in graveyards, but they stopped after Odyssey block anyway (though the World Champs decks with OD block cards did have the symbol on them). But the promo Cabal Therapy with n...

This cards does not seem in tune with the 5 color concept, so where did you get this info from? Sorry to question this, but something doesn't smell right here. I'd have to say it makes a lot of sense in 5-color in my opinion. It's multicolored and it's an ante card. Those are two of the defining as...

Well, not really, snow-covered and basic are two different supertypes. The snow-covered basic lands are basic because their rules text says so. They could (and might) print nonbasics that are also snow covered. Of course, they'll never print anything as powerful as the original dual lands again. Jus...

Re: My One-Of-A-Kind Alpha Hypnotic Spectre

There are a couple collectors of crimped cards on these forums who may be interested in it. Just to let you know, an Alpha Hypnotic Specter goes for just under $30 on eBay according to MOTL's price guide (remember it was only an uncommon). The value of this particular crimped and cut card will reall...

From the scan, it looks like the date is printed correctly; it's the card that's misprinted! ;-)
