I hadn't thought of it in that way, mintcollector, but you make a very valid point.

Summer packs look exactly like Revised packs. Open one, and if the cards are summer, the others are too.

id like to direct your attention to this post at gamingetc.com http://forums.gamingetc.com/index.php?showtopic=16765 apparently a set of dual land proxies is already under way. we would be competing with a well-funded business that has a jump start and experience making cards. is it still a good id...

hey im off to work so i cant type long, but i think that we are getting ahead of ourselves talking about making 20 different cards. 20 different original arts? this is going to be incredibly complicated and i think a very small set is in order for our first outing. ill chime in later. Not necessari...

I was thinking that if textless proxies are done, what about doing full sized land shots like the Unhinged lands, then having the applicable Mox overlaid on top? For example, a picture of an island with a sapphire amulet on it. This only would work for the 5 moxen though. Although easier to obtain ...

A couple of comments - If we want to do both restricted and unrestricted cards, we can always offer 4 of each unrestricted and 1 of each restricted (and maybe banned  ) cards. We can always adapt the prited sheet to have multiple copies of some cards if needed. One easy way to provide variati...

I find the idea of creating textless proxies with Latin names is absolutely gorgeous, obviously provided the Art is easily identifiable with the card (I think Time Walk might end up being called something like Deambulatio temporalis - but I don't know Latin very well  - so we'd have to make s...

I would probably have to agree that tokens are flooded as it is, and it might be counterintuitive since dragsamou and Jess are already working on the next set of Neo-Tokens. How about we do a set of life counters? Nothing as complex as the official WOTC ones but something akin to the Duelist Life C...

dragsamou- perhaps you could tell me specifics about the limited edition neo-tokens you had made. what kind of printer did you go thru? what were the costs? did they all sell well? what country were they made in? how was the quality? what is the "cost of correction"? any and all info would be great...

Re: Magic Library Community Project

Say we did textless proxies for the P9 and High end cards, in a language, like, say, Latin? Would it be copyright infringment? I think not... What do you mean by 'textless' AND 'in latin'? I doubt that simply translating the text to a different language would suffice for copyright purposes. On that...
