Re: Have: Minagishi tokens

any info yall could give me would be greatlt appreciated. why would somebody counterfeit a $5-15 card? In part, it would be because a lot of these tokens used to be worth way more.  I first got suckered into the fake scene (along with FatCat) when I got one of the 5-goblin tokens.  They w...

Re: Metal Cards

good observation, motorcitymagic... i think this kinda begs the question...  should the revised fork be listed as a test print?  i mean, if it were a test print, why run the same type of test print for a later set?  if whatever it is they were testing was rejected, the rejection of an identical ...

Re: Metal Cards

Mmmm that lovely dragon... Feels a bit priced out of my range, though... I agree Muldoon,  I have been watching that dragon and was going to buy it myself.  Last night the price was still affordable, but come this morning, it has shot up beyond what I am willing to pay anymore, in part due to wha...

Metal Cards

With the metal cards on this site (BoP and Fork), is this the same sort of item, or is this all together different?

Re: double backed magic

The reason is: why not sell to a friend rather than with somebody whom one does not know?   ::) Sorry Mr Thrond, not an acceptable reason.   Setting up an auction on Ebay, is in effect creating a contract between (a) seller, (b) auction house and (c) eventual buyer.  Ebay has 4 reasons a...

Re: auction ended early

Sort of in theme with this thread, is an auction I was bidding on, which also was ended early, by one of the members of the board here.   I wonder if it is for the same 'illegal' reason that was used by the seller of the double backed card?? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/ebayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=31...

Re: double backed magic

When I first saw your post/subject, I was thinking of another error card that I had seen recently - one with a normal front and the backside was upside down.  The seller took a good picture of it, with him in front of a mirror so that you could see 2 cards face front, and in the mirror one back...

Re: eBay: MtG Miniatures auction

wanna sell them? Sorry Axios, I must have missed your post before.  Did you want these?  I think the store was selling them for $4 or $5 each.  And S&H should not be too much, as they really are not all that heavy.  Let me know, and I can pick them up for you next time I go ther...

Re: Shichifukujin...what does it mean?

I came across this site before.  When I first saw the pictures (before I read anything), I thought it was a bunch of chocolates!!  Thought this would be neat to buy, and then realized it was alabaster.  Don't think that would taste quite as good!

Re: Shichifukujin...what does it mean?

Hi Silver. What about Cristopher Rush, the Artist  ;) I wrote him once before, and did not receive a reply.  I had also found an article somewhere on the Web about Rush and the Dragon, and he mentioned that he received no proofs, and he did not have pictures either, so I have not bothered tryi...

Re: Shichifukujin...what does it mean?

I'll need to send this to my Malaysian co-worker to correct his Japanese.  Thanks a bunch.  so the card's name means "Dragon of the Seven Gods of Fortune" If this indeed can be confirmed, then I propse adding this information to the Shichifukujin write up as it is an interesting fact that I am su...

Re: Do any of us have real jobs?

I'm a Dutch IT Consultant, 35 yrs old. Are you the same MagicDude on Ebay that has been bidding on a number of Minagishi tokens?  I have been noticing someone with the name of MagicDude bidding on tokens from Singapore sellers, and if you are that person, are you getting all fakes also from th...
