This is really cool. I have seen similar display racks made of wood and always thought it would be cool to do exactly this with one. How difficult is it to transport? What did oyu use for the set names? Are they just print outs? I use 5 art portfolio carrying cases 42" x 33" for the pages and a car...

Collection Display Ideas
I'm sure there are some good ideas out there about how to display our beautiful collections. I'd like to hear them. I have talked to some of you and will try and put what I was typing into pictures with more detail. This is the method I used to display the basic edition MTG cards 1st through 7th edi...

Re: Oh the internets
No comment on youtube related to the "floor" of the internet but thanks one heck of a lot for the link--that was so far out. Wish we had it in '98. Gotta send this to my son--don't think he ever saw it.l0qii wrote:I found this laying on the floor of the internet.

I've checked the latest spoilers from Alara, and though I love the arts (much more than Shadowmoor), most of the cards abilities are weird and worthless. Do you think likewise or am I just misreading ? To be honest, I have not paid attention to any of the new updates. I seldem play any of the new c...

The charts that agzz and hiryu have provided really help in figuring out what a card is but, at least for 3d, 4th and renissance, I still read the picture. I am finding that the copywrite line works quicker than anything to tell me what language the card is. Alle = German Tutti i = Italian los = Spa...

When a marketer does his job correctly, he can make the business grow tremendously as satisfy the consumers. I guess what they need is someone to make quality and quantity marketing studies both in the collecting and playing aspects of the game. They would get precious answers and develop the game....

It was. It was (potentially) relocated to down the left side. Some early test prints have been circulating lately of these. http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f207/ccg4u/wildmongrel8thtestprint.jpg Very interesting you should point this one out--I had forgotten about it. This is from Judgment (circa...

When they say they are following users opinions, I wonder what opinions they are taking into account... Basically any opinion that supports what they already want to do. In all fairness to Mark Rosewater though, he really does a lot of sensing and seeking to find out what players are thinking. In t...

I stopped collecting every set when 8th edition came out. 1) The change in the card facing sucked in my opinion. 2) The direction art, in general, took was very disappointing (Spirit Link was an insult to Kaja and a degradation of Kev Walkers very fine abilities). 3) I was really PO when WotC ignore...

...that would be so awsome if we could get all of the sets together at a convention or somthing ... This is the thing that really interests me. There are so many really fantastic collections that people have put together--and nobody, sometimes not even they themselves, have seen. When I did the bas...

I'd say 30 € apiece (that's $45 when the $ is high, that changed a lot lately). I'd like one of each, and I am sure that Mark (berkumps) would like one too. Don't know if the price would be good for him, but I can try to call him today (he's in France right now). Let me know if this price is agreea...

Hmmm. That's a tough one. Could you please make a list as I am a little confused as it seems you have quite many. Ya, I even confuse myself sometimes.
