Re: Mail Brag!

I got a couple of signed cards on Monday. https://i.imgur.com/Vm3eWF9l.jpg and with that I finished one long time project of mine: Signed Legends Playset...I made a Youtube video of it... https://youtu.be/phxE2Y-fPAI Wow, That is amazing! Did he sign these for you recently, or did you get them from...

Re: TheJGits' Misprints & Other Stuff

I enjoy the digital binder project.
You did a great job on it.

It was truly amazing to see your binder in person though.

Re: Inquiries about Art misprints

At GP Vegas 2018, I was with Open Boosters for the opening of a sealed booster box of German FWB.
The Swamp with Drudge Skeleton text is definitely a German FWB card.
It is a common.
It is the Swamp located above Mesa Pegasus on the uncut sheet.

Re: M19 Commons cards in a Dominaria booster box

Thanks for the info. I'm not on Salvation, but Medussa sounds pretty smart. Yes, my info is based on research into the very old sets. Here's a link. http://forum.magiclibrarities.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=10077&p=89967#p89967 I figured that it must have changed at some point, but I hadn't looked...

If you'd like to see the miscuts Jakob used as reference material, they're on Facebook.
Here's a link.

Re: Calculated print sheets based on pack openings

It's nice to see someone else working on this.
I haven't devoted as much time to it as I would have liked.
Here's a quick write up of what I'd done a couple years ago.

Re: How cards get from sheet to pack and in what order

Though calculating the Arabian Nights sheet is still quite involved, doing the Alpha sheet should be pretty easy.
This may also be useful for other sheets that we haven't seen.

How cards get from sheet to pack and in what order

This is something I've been meaning to post for years. I wanted to make some images to go along with the text, but I never got around to it, and that's why I didn't post earlier. I still haven't made those images, but I figured I'd go ahead and post the text version. Two years ago today (May 18th 20...

Re: A Christmas Magiclibrarities Exclusivity

Had a chance to visit with Dave some more regarding this item, and thought I'd save it here for posterity. Interesting stuff. This is a matchproof for the Regathering showing where Aldus PrePrint 1.5.1 was screwing up the color separations. What was the purpose of making this print? Was it just to s...

Re: M19 Commons cards in a Dominaria booster box

Dominaria was released more than a week ago and the box was purchased at the release. Usually a lot of product is sold and opened at release, so the other boxes from this case have probably already been opened. It's unusual that this person waited a week to open his box. If someone else had opened s...

Re: M19 Commons cards in a Dominaria booster box

Box was bought on release day, but not opened until last night. 15 cards (all Commons) came from a single box, with no more than 3 or 4 of these cards in a single pack. I know a little about how cards get put into packs, and to me (based on how things worked in the old days, so I could be wrong) I t...

Re: Playing Cards Coatings

Yes, they probably could have changed the coating to be less like the counterfeits, but they're more concerned with all of the other things that the coating has to do, which are the things Tom talked about, while also making sure that the change isn't so drastic that the new cards would all be consi...

Re: Playing Cards Coatings

The Dominaria cards I've seen locally are more smooth than previous cards. This new coating that they've just started using in the Dallas Texas print facility has been used at the Japan facility for a while. If you have Dominaria cards made at a different print facility, they probably won't have thi...
