eBay allows like 100 free auction-style listings a month. this moved up from their 5 free a month from months back. unless eBay tiers who can and who cannot list for free, the seller could close and relist the item.

and, the seller can always update the auction.

I love Wikipedia :)

I didn't see a link to a website for Mr. Gelon or Mr. Kirschner.

I have already made a place for mine.
I couldn't make it to the gameday :(

I also have this very bad feeling that I am going to miss getting to collect a few of the special "affiliate" packs that will be passed out at the MB prerelease/release events.

Gary, these two striders were also given out during the SoM gameday for the top 2 of each "affiliated" faction (phyrexian or mirrodin). I wish they would have done SOMETHING (hello WOTC, an asterisk maybe???) to differentiate between the ones passed out early and the ones that can be found in packs....

Hobby Japan Promos - what is their value?

In my quest to complete my promo collection, I prefer to have promos that are still sealed. as I did not know that the Hobby Japan promos came sealed, I REALLY want them now, but are these listed at a reasonable price, or is their value inflated? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=25...

I've purchased a few promos from kygamers before. the cards I purchased were at prices a little below SCG's, but I was disappointed in the condition of the cards I received (listed as NM/Mint, received VG/VF cards-corner damage). selling $2 promos at $100 is just odd.... anyways, LOL @ calling the s...

if I remember correctly, it's a pretty good crimp, going into the card title.

ok, so approx 150% of normal value is what I can expect. thanks.

Crimped Force of Will

except for the crimping, it is mint. it is crimped along the top edge of the card.

I'm only asking about it's value out of curiosity. It's currently in storage and I won't be getting it back until about a year from now.

There are moments where I consider having my Melissa Benson Collection as a Global set, and then I have moments where I think I'd have to marry Bill Gates in order to afford to.

VERY nice Shivan collection!

Thanks Yvel & Gary! the copyright line on scans of black and artifact promos are normally illegible.

*sighs* maybe one day I'll live in an area where MTG is played by more than just me.

... appears to be Golem's Heart. I want to say this is one of the 2 WPN promos from SOM. http://cgi.ebay.com/MTG-GOLEMS-HEART-X-1-SCARS-MIRRODIN-FOIL-PROMO-/260686430380?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_2&hash=item3cb21f40ac And there are 2 other promos: Plague Stinger and Skinrender. Would someone let me know w...

Hey Gary, glad you got this discussion started.

Alexis, ummm, a lot of those links are either to websites that no longer exist or haven't been updated in a LONG time. Is there a moderator that will go in and scrub those existing links and collect all the new project sites for you?

IMHO, there are or can be several reasons for only 2 Legacy events: a) $$$. to have a competitive Legacy deck, it has to be spent. How many players do you know find the amount to invest in Legacy worth it? b) Legacy has a LOT of cards. relatively new players either can't or don't want to learn every...
