Global Set Resources

Is there a way, other than exhaustive research, to find out exactly which sets, languages, and other points of interest a particular card is printed in? I've been encouraged by a few people to start a global "Nightmare" set, and I'd like to compile a solid list before I start. I have a good idea of ...
