Visiting Tokyo & Kyoto in October - need store advise!

Greetings everyone, I will be in Japan this October (in three weeks) and would love to find the better, hidden, or otherwise well inventoried Magic stores. I know Yellow Submarine, and would prefer to find better priced shops - if possible. :) Akhiba changes sooo much, anything left there? Elsewhere...

Is there an issue sending a donation through an English version of paypal?

Thx,

I would like to chip in

Greetings all,

I continually find this site a strong resource and fun community.

Is there a donation system? I presume someone is paying for the website :)

Thanks,
~Robin

Looks great!

Shoot me a copy of what you are looking for. I will be happy to buy in duplicate when possible to assist a fellow collector :)

Seeking foreign promos

Hello everyone, In my quest for collecting DCI/promos I have reached the point where foreign cards are the main thing left. These are primarily found in the Gateway/WPN series (since April 2008), Buy-a-Box promos, and assorted special releases. As my collection is mainly one of each, I am not in a s...

In a funny way, the gun safe industry might have help for you. At a basic outdoor store here in the US (Where they sell safes) they also sell bags of silicon which absorb moisture out of the air. They cost about $30 and are designed to keep an enclosed area dry for 6 months. I do not think they woul...

Thanks for the compliment! :) I started this local 'League' in Columbia, SC slightly over a year ago - as many of my friends were talking about restarting the hobby. To make it seem more official and to help organize game nights I made a web site on Wordpress. Learned a bunch in the process, ha! The...

I used to use Magic workstation (MWS)... but there are some bugs which killed my master library list and a whole ton of work, alas... so I decided to move to a paper/scan format... easy enough. I use the DCI Deck Checklists to inventory my cards, scan them and have a web site to check on what I have...

You bet! :)

I have a sneaking suspicion the folks involved might even want to make it a causal trading lunch... secret hand-offs in unmarked brown bags, lol.

Lunch will be fun. I hope lots can make it.

And I agree - Gencon is the best in the biz!

Cheers,

GenCon 2011!

I know. . . it's way early. lol. But we can still get excited, eh? :) This year I would very much like to meet fellow collectors from this forum, and propose something simple... like a free lunch! Pending how many folks can make it (1-10?) I would like to treat folks to a nice lunch at PF Changs. *P...

I have a sealed Japanese Deckbuilders Toolkit from 2010, but have not opened it to view the cards. They *could* be in English.

Anyone know?

Thanks,
