Is there a difference between the languages? I mean are the cards on different positions? That's a great question, part of me believes that they are the same (at least for the majority), especially because most releases were almost instantaneous in terms of different language releases. However, set...

Magic Print Sheets / Card Distribution / Odds in a booster

So I'm embarking on a bit of a project, ultimately I would like to calculate the "chance of opening" each card, from each set, from their respective boosters. To do this, I've made some spreadsheets that tally up rarities of card, number of cards in boosters, numbers of each rarity per booster, etc....

There are also (I believe - from a good source) starter packs (60 cards) of these released in English only, in Europe. I have a few loose cards but no packaging.

Can anyone else confirm this as well?

Need: German Renaissance Booster Display(s)

I am looking for a sealed booster box of German Renaissance. I may be able to afford two if people have them.

I currently only have cash to offer, but will be very reasonable with the price. Send me a PM if you have one (or two!)

Thanks

I thought the same thing at first too, but this is a card stock issue (I'm fairly certain) The card shows NO warping of any kind, and is to the naked eye really not any glossier or matte than a normal card. Cards with liquids, etc damage curve, they warp, they stick to each other, they are usually u...

Strange Backed / Textured Revised Card

I've come across a revised Mishra's War Machine that feels unlike any card I have ever felt. That's right... felt . The front of the card feels much more like "paper" than a "card" (it has a very slightly rougher texture) but the back of the card is what is clearly noticeable. It feels like very ver...

I've always wanted to make custom foils too, such as foil "magic cards" of actual friends as "plainswalkers", foil versions of cards that were never foil, etc. There are a few tricks out there to get foil cards, but I don't know of a way to take a non-foil card (like the Zodiac Dragon) and "make it ...

Depending on how new a set is, the best way for me is to usually get a few booster boxes. There will be a good stack of cards that typically trade for about $10 each and you can always pull things that are slightly more or less depending on foils. I've found that if I want a hand full of cards from ...

The Alara Reborn cards have a slightly different process than Shards or Conflux. Shine the front of them in the light at an angle, and you can see that Reborn cards seem faintly 'textured' while Shards and Conflux cards seem 'smooth' (tried this with cards fresh of boosters of each set to confirm - ...

I agree with l0qii as well, I fear I will forget some great traders, but here is a list of trades / sales / purchases in the last 6 months or so, if I go back to 2003 when I joined here it would be much longer and many of those members are less active now. yawg07 worth mystical tutor Tha_Gunslinga C...

Some odds and ends NEEDS for EDH

My friends and I have become more and more obsessed with the EDH format and recently have accumulated a decent list of needs for our generals or other key cards. Offering cash (via Paypal), PM or reply if you got'em and about what you're looking for: Meloku the Clouded Mirror - FOIL SPANISH Braids, ...

what are you offering? Sorry, seem to have forgotten that! My trade stock is likely not what many are looking for here. (It's mostly average cards from the most recent sets) as I'm making the shift from collecting all sets, to collecting player's sets of all sets, I have nothing of great value to t...
