 Mana Source old logo. These life counters consist of a sealed cardlike plastic case in which a double-sided piece of cardboard is embedded. The front shows popular characters of the Magic world in an anime fashion, the backside shows a field of numbers to maintain life point totals. Additional counters are needed to mark the current amount of life points. They origin from a Japanese card shop named Mana Source existing since 1997 and located in Wakayama. They are made by the distributor with permission of Wizards of the Coast. Some Mana Source regular life counters exist but more might have been available. Further information is currently unavailable. The life counters cards of Miyama Zero are very rare, it was the first work before commercial activity and becoming a professional. Mana Source Dial Life Counters were illustrated by Zhiemay Batow (Japanese Manga artist for Break-age). Tracks score up to 20 points, they have a different "quip" when turning the score wheel for each life total that you are at and are supposed to be of the 5 MTG colors: White, Blue, Black, Red and Green.
