The Planeswalker Championship (PWCS) is a Japan-only original program that will begin in October. The opening season of 2019 Autumn will be held from October 1, 2019 to March 31, 2020 at WPN stores, which are officially authorized stores nationwide. The format is Standard or Limited (Qualifying: Shield Deck, Final: Booster Draft). From April 2023, while maintaining the concept PWCS was moved to a new series named "Planeswalker Friendly Match (PWFM)". The basic elements will remain the same, and will be reborn as an event like the one below: Format is standard. Store chooses BO1 (1 game first) or BO3 (2 game first) Distributing participation prize promos to participants (the number may be limited) Distribute a special promo to the "winner" and "rock-paper-scissors tournament winner" *If the final round is held, a rock-paper-scissors tournament will be held at the end of the Swiss round.
