Hobby Japan Tokens (Japanese)

Hobby Japan, was the local Magic distributor in Japan and organizer of the Japanese tournament environment. In 2002 Hobby Japan introduced a temporary Promo reward program starting with Odyssey which featured five Promo tokens figures.
They come in a clear sealed wrapper inside a white box except for Champions of Kamigawa that were in a black sealed wrapper. They are made of plastic and measure approximately 1.18" (3cm).
The name of the token, color, power/toughness and ability is mentioned on the front of the piedestal. On the bottom of the tokens, there are three logos: Magic: the Gathering, Wizards of the Coast and Hobby Japan.

The first Odyssey/Onslaught series was sent in April 2004 to some MTG stores in the US as a thanks reward for participating in the Premier Store program.

A second series of five Promo tokens figures was available with Mirrodin:

"Collect 9 barcode parts of Japanese Mirrodin booster packs, and send them to Hobby Japan with an envelope for sending back. Then you can get one Mirrodin's token figure. 20,000 first arrivals get it!

"Token" indispensable for playing magic is three-dimensionalized as a powerful high quality figure!
There is no need to use glass beads or 10 yen coin anymore. From now on "token is a figure" will become common sense!
1 version is available with the Japanese version Mirrodin booster pack 9 pack barcode!

Application method
1. Please cut off 9 barcodes of Japanese version Mirrodin Booster Pack and paste it on the application form (paper you prepared by yourself is fine too).
Please do not forget to include your postal code, address, name, age, and telephone number on the back of the application form.
Entry per person, any assortment is possible, but please be sure to enclose only one assortment for one envelope.
2. Please enclose an envelope for reply stamped with 120 yen stamp by specifying the postal code, address and full name. Please use the size of the reply envelope of 12 cm wide × 23.5 cm vertical. (See FIG. 1)
3. Please enter your postal code, address, name, age on the back of the entry envelope. (See FIG. 2)
4. Please enclose the above 1 and 2 to the above 3 envelope and send it to the following address.
5. After confirming the content of the application, I will send it out. There are 5 types of figures in all, and it will be shipped randomly (figures can not be specified). Shipping will be after December. Please note.

* There is a case that you can not send figures if there is a seal of necessary items or entry is made.
* The figure of prize is preparing enough number, but if it becomes out of stock by any chance the campaign ends at that point. Please note.
* The photograph is a prototype. Actual prizes may differ.

Particularly please note that applications will be invalid in the following cases.
1. When a bar code other than the target product is included
2. When the duplicated bar code is included
3. When the number of bar codes is insufficient
4. When the number of the bar code can not be determined
5. When it is different from other application methods

"Token" indispensable for playing magic is three-dimensional as a powerful figure! The third popular "Token Figure Campaign" campaign was decided on October 1st (Friday), in conjunction with the release of Kamigawa story!

Customers who purchase Japanese version Kamikawa Monogatari Booster 9 Pack, randomly receive 1 body from 6 types of figures!
In addition, although we have applied for the past campaign by postal mail from the customer, you can receive it directly at the shop this time.
